Important security period information:

To ensure maximum confidentiality and security, the 2008 ARC Unseen Examination Papers have a security period that begins as soon as papers are distributed to schools and is lifted on:

• Friday 19 September 2008 (for HSC Papers)
• Friday 26 September 2008 (for Preliminary Papers)
• Friday 7 November 2008 (for School Certificate Tests).

In purchasing an ARC Unseen Examination Paper you agree to the following conditions, without exception and without adjustment:

The ARC Unseen Examination Paper and all questions contained within, including the Marking Scheme and Answers, must be kept SECURE.

The ARC Unseen Examination Paper supplied should not be stored on school networks until after the aforementioned security period has elapsed, and copies made only when the paper is to be used as the School's Trial Examination paper.

The ARC Unseen Examination Paper and all questions contained within, including the Marking Scheme and Answers must NOT be removed from the examination room or used with students for revision purposes until the security period has elapsed.

If all or part of the ARC Unseen Examination Paper is to be used, you may review the examination at the completion of your school's Trial examination period, but the actual examination paper, and/or worked solutions and/or marking guidelines cannot be given back to students until the security period has elapsed.

NO questions are to be used in preparing students for their Trial exam, unless this occurs after the security period has elapsed.

The Purchaser of the paper, named on the completed Order Form, is responsible for all security and for ensuring that the Conditions of Sale are adhered to. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure this ARC Unseen Examination Paper is kept safe and secure until the security period has elapsed. Pearson Education Australia takes no responsibility for security breaches beyond its control.

To allow for the Conditions of Sale to be met, and to ensure the papers are only sold to teachers within a school, the Purchaser of the Papers must provide:

• a school order number
• a personal school email address
• confirmation phone number
