  1. Visit the Cubby House at Headroom at www.headroom.net.au/cubby/index.html. Select 'Bullying' from the top menu bar. Choose the appropriate subjects from the menu to complete the following.

  2. a Outline the different types of bullying.

    b In small groups, work through the questions and worksheet under 'How
       bullying can make you think'.

    c Describe each of the actions you can take to deal with bullies.

    d Play the bullying word find game.

  3. Go to Child and Youth Health at www.cyh.com. First select 'For kids' and then 'Your school'. Click on 'Bullying' from the topic list.

    a List some of the things that bullies do.

    b What advice is there for bullies to follow?

    c Who do bullies generally pick on? Return to the topic list and click on
       'Dealing with bullies'.

    d What should you do if someone is bullying you?

    e Describe skills you can practise to help you deal with bullies.

  4. Visit Lawstuff at www.lawstuff.org.au. Click on your state. Select 'Law topics' from the top menu bar and then click on 'Bullying' from the topics list. Use the information to complete the following.

    a Define bullying.

    b Outline what you should do if you are being bullied.

    c Suggest ways schools can deal with bullying.

    d List counselling services available in your state to help with bullying.

  5. Using an Internet search engine, identify two other websites that provide information and assistance about bullying. Outline the guidance each offers.
