Film as Text: Shrek

Shrek is a colourful, practical exploration of this much-loved animation film, working from fundamental building blocks of plot details and characters through to themes and issues such as traditional storytelling, gender roles and intertextuality. Film techniques and vocabulary are contextualised and demystified and ample opportunities are provided for engaging, high-interest level activities and tasks. Both Shrek and Shrek 2 are covered.
