Largely set in Sicily, Forza! tre caters for the increasing maturity and linguistic competence of students at this level. Topics are aligned with senior curricula and are clearly treated in photo-stories about the experiences of real Italian teenagers.

The communicative approach of the earlier levels of the course is continued in Forza! tre. A new feature is the detailed grammar reference section appropriate to the stage of language learning. Activities are designed so that students can make the most of computer software, email, the Internet and other technology, while not excluding those without access to these.
